About Shri. T.E.vASUDEVAN
Hailing from Chennai, Mr. T.E. Vasudevan has been blessed to be in Swami's fold from 1983, while seeing Swami in Chennai for the first time in 1969. In August 2002, Swami lovingly advised him to resign his job at Higginbothams, where he was a Purchase Manager and go about spreading His Divine message. It has been a roller-coaster ride ever since. He is an official speaker for the Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organizations - TamilNadu. By Swami's will, he has been giving talks across the state for about 27 years now. Post 2004, on obtaining His blessings again, he began a drive to spread His message via 7 day programmes as Sapthahams. He has now completed 112 Sri Sathya Sai Bhagavatha Sapthaham, 109 Sri Sathya Sai Sapthaha Devamrutham , 31 Sri Rama Katha Rasamrutham and 1 Sri Sathya Sai Sapthaham Honey Drops, totalling 253 Sapthahams till date.
Over the course of the years, he has been able to bring multitude of people to Swami's fold. People have visited Puttaparthi is groups after a Sapthaham in their town/village, gone on to volunteer as Sevadals and also many Bhajana Mandalis were opened across TamilNadu. During the Sapthahams, the sale of Sai Literature and subscription to Sanathana Sarathi has been a real highlight. He believes that his personal achievement is coming to Swami and being able to hold on to Him and be His instrument.
